Educational Development workshops are designed to enhance the University of Guelph's learner-centred culture by supporting educators to improve their teaching practice. We provide an interdisciplinary approach and opportunity for participants to build and share expertise, explore new ideas, and increase pedagogical confidence. Our workshops create a space to ask critical questions; openly discuss experiences, challenges and opportunities; to actively link theory to practice; and to inspire collaboration and build collegiality. Workshops are delivered with an emphasis on engaging participants in active, collaborative and reflective activities. We encourage critical and creative exploration of ideas, peer interaction and knowledge-sharing. By inviting instructors and faculty to share their pedagogical expertise, we aim to build the teaching and learning capacity at the University of Guelph.
Please see our Teaching Support Calendar for workshop details and registration.
