Open Learning and Educational Support (OpenEd) has teamed up with Equine Guelph to bring six exclusive webinars to the public, completely free of charge. From June to August, Taking Science to the Stable equine webinar series will be available to everyone and provides attendees with informative and insightful knowledge on current equine topics.
“Participants have the opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals while getting a glimpse into what our equine studies online program has to offer,” says Marjory Gaouette, equine program manager. “Our webinars cover a variety of topics including routine equine handling and small business pandemic response, and a three-part miniseries on nutrition.”
OpenEd and Equine Guelph offered a similar webinar series last summer and after receiving an overwhelmingly positive response, knew the series would be brought back.
“We are very excited to develop such thoughtful and engaging equine webinars,” says Gayle Ecker, director of Equine Guelph. “We’re always looking for new ways to promote best practices for equine welfare.”
