Posted on Tuesday September 03, 2024

Working together towards a healthier future comes with its share of challenges. While it’s necessary to recognize the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health, it’s important to understand the complexities of how these different communities connect.

Better known as One Health, this intersectionality of diverse health perspectives and priorities has given rise to an exciting new online course: Mobilizing One Health. Offering a blend of engaging content, interactive discussions, rich case studies, and collaborative projects, this new course gives learners an opportunity to focus on and deepen their understanding of One Health.

Along with the foundational and practical applications of One Health, perspectives from guest speakers from a wide variety of disciplines provide participants with an authentic and informative learning experience in the emerging topic of One Health.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer this comprehensive look at One Health through a real-world lens,” says Carolyn Creighton, director, OpenEd. “The transformative content and insights from our diverse group of visiting experts promise to make this an outstanding course.”

Delivered online, this new course will be relevant to anyone interested in navigating the complexities of One Health, and more specifically, individuals working in public health, animal health, and environmental conservation.

The first offering of this exciting new course is scheduled for the Winter 2025 semester. Stay connected—sign up for updates about Mobilizing One Health.
