New Updates to the Equine Welfare Certificate Starting this May

As of May 1, 2023, students who begin the Equine Welfare Certificate must complete the new course requirements outlined on our Equine Welfare Certificate Completion Updates page.

Students who began their studies before December 31, 2022 can choose to complete the certificate following the requirements in place at that time (outlined on the Equine Welfare Certificate Completion Updates page), and will have until December 31, 2024 to complete the certificate under those requirements.

Students who wish to use Equine Behaviour as an elective must complete the new certificate requirements.

Students may also choose to complete the new certificate requirements at any time.
