What happens once I have registered? |
Once your registration has been processed and payment received, an email confirmation and receipt will be sent to you. A detailed email confirmation will be sent to you a couple weeks before the start of the conference with the schedule, maps, and additional conference information. |
What is the registration deadline for the conference? |
We encourage you to register in advance so that your nametag and conference package are ready for you on the first day. Registration will also be available at the door. |
What is the refund policy? |
A full refund less a 10% administration fee will be issued for withdrawals received by Friday, May 1, 2020. Refunds will not be issued after this date, but you may transfer the registration to another individual. To request a refund or obtain a receipt, log into the OpenEd Student Portal. In the 'Student Home' section, select 'My Conference History'. If you register but do not attend, you will not receive a refund. In the event that the Accessibility Conference is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, 75% of your registration fee will be refunded. Open Learning and Educational Support will not be responsible for your travel or other related expenses. |

Will I receive a receipt? |
Yes, a receipt will be emailed to the address on your registration form. To request a printed copy, email our main office or phone us at 519-767-5000. |
What does "Student Rate" mean? |
Student rates are available for full-time university and community college students. A student identification number is required when registering. |
How to I get a parking pass? |
You may order a parking pass when registering for the conference. A map and parking information will be sent to you prior to the conference. You may also pay for parking during the day at an attendant lot or metered parking spot. Visit the Sustainable Transportation & Parking Services website for parking lot locations. Parking for pre-purchased passes is located in P14/15 off East Ring Road. See our campus map for help navigating your way around campus. |

Is the conference wheelchair accessible? |
All seminar rooms are wheelchair accessible. Please identify yourself to conference staff for assistance in locating wheelchair accessible entrances and washrooms. Feel free to contact us in advance of your arrival if you have any concerns. |
Are there any gender-neutral washrooms on campus? |
Yes, gender-neutral washrooms are located throughout campus. |
