Call for Abstracts

The Scientific Program Committee for the 2022 One Health and Development for a World Under Pressure Symposium is requesting abstracts for oral presentations and poster presentations. You must indicate if you would like to present your poster, and if so, whether you prefer (1) in-person OR (2) virtual. The Scientific Program Committee also welcomes abstracts that propose an alternative method of communication and learning, other than the traditional poster/lecture format, that is aligned with Indigenous ways of knowing and learning.

Submission Requirements

Abstracts should be submitted in English. Each abstract should include a short introduction to the current knowledge, the objective of the work, a brief methods section, the results of the study, and an overall conclusion. Up to three references may be included. Abstracts must not exceed 300 words in length. Please do not include tables, figures, or graphs.

Authors must upload a copy of their visual aid (poster, infographic, slides) to the virtual site.

The Scientific Program Committee will review the abstracts. Completed projects will be given priority. You will receive notification by email confirming acceptance of your abstract.

The deadline for abstract submission is Monday, January 24, 2022

Please note, this is a hybrid virtual/in-person symposium. The talks and posters will be presented virtually and will be available to all registered attendees for a limited time after the conclusion of the Symposium.
